ODILON REDON
Six dessins pour la Tentation de Saint Antoine
15.04-15.05.2026

Octagon, in collaboration with Ratio Artis, reopens its Milanese headquarters with a monographic exhibition dedicated to Odilon Redon, a seminal figure of Symbolism and visionary precursor to Surrealism.

The exhibition, co-organized with Ratio Artis, centers on the lithographic series “The Temptation of St. Anthony”, a masterpiece inspired by Flaubert, presented alongside a selection of other graphic plates that explore the boundary between the dreamlike and the real, myth and psychological introspection.

The exhibition is curated by Jacopo Mazzetti and accompanied by a critical essay by Claudio Salsi, a central figure in Milan’s museum heritage.

Founded in 2018, Octagon is an exhibition platform dedicated to research-based projects aimed at converging historical narratives with contemporary perspectives.

Ratio Artis is a multidisciplinary art platform dedicated to curating, producing, and supporting contemporary projects.
